October 28, 2005: TD

Ya ya, nice TD for sure! Me like it very much... How's the new format?? I think it's very coolamente hehehe... This market is on drugs fer shure :P .. if one looks at daily it's obvious that we're still in flag pattern, so 1 day up 1 day down... yoyo! Today there were 2 trades, the first one was risky but hey! The 2nd one is the a typical 10m system entry with everything under the sun confirming :)

This market is going nowhere to the upside until the dow moves its butt off 10550-650...that's what I'd be watching... Semis are just terrible and that's what's throwing off the bullish scenario... As for Monday, I'd like to see a follow through on the upside after today's TD.



The system is based on AB (ER) trades, but YM can be trades as well as long as it's above/below its ema and serves as nice confirmation. Should point out to earlier flag on YM in the morning below ema but everything in market was pointing up so no trade there! Both AB trades reached their targets easily... :)

October 27, 2005: TD

This was an easy session to figure out based on yesterday's analysis. Sure enough, the semis broke down from their BRACKET pattern that lasted few days. This pattern has repeated at important junctures - something to keep for files... Breadth stunk hehe.. and one would close their eyes and just short!...







Waterfall was very clear on YM which confirmed the dbl hump on AB... both were clearly below ema... notice how ADD consolidated between bands but couldn't pierce thru the upper one!!! Amazing price action...

October 26, 2005: Something!

Today was tricky for beginners but relatively straight forward in terms of hi % setup... breadth traded below the bands (they're absolutely magical!!) Also ES range chart provided confirmation along with semis.. Tomorrow should be a down day based on semis price action breaking out of BRACKET pattern to the downside! This system is really offering hi % trades!!!!








Only 1 setup today and it was straight forward... Early action above ema but with no confirmations... once market breadth weakened it was a matter fo time to wait for setups on the short side... Trade set up below the ema as resistance... didn't reach target but nice single hit...

October 25, 2005: Almost U-turn!

I thought today was to offer some continuation to last session but noooo... this market is nuts but hey!! :P.... The 10min system is really providing the best direction and setups on ER/AB that I've seen in a while!! VOLD was really weak from the get-go (check my red arrow - it's a nice indicator isn't it? haha)...








Today the market offered couple of nice setups... 1 hit its target the other which I didn't bother putting its entry/exit didn't hit and all of a sudden the market just reversed to the upside.... why no long entries cuz DUH, everything was pointing down... play it safe and follow the rooooolz keh keh keh....

October 24, 2005: TD

Yes! This was an excellent day to be active in the market especially that it's a Monday! I don't like Monday mornings and this session is proof: some chop and support then blast off to the upside!! Incredible! Well, everything was pointing up so based on my rules afternoon trade is the one to take for sure with a hi probability.... VOLD was just huge... Semis still consolidating in BRACKET pattern... that's not a bullish pattern... sheesh :P




Notice the inverted "N" pattern on Dow which is usually followed by last leg of "W" and voila... 2 setups: first one is monday morning so that should be ignored and the second one is the hi %.... ADD help up pretty well above the bands, now how about some follow thru to negate that BRACKET pattern on the semis???

Oct. 11, 2005: Blah la....!

Wow! I just remembered that I do have a blog! Gee... what's the matter with me! Living overseas is definitely quite an experience and boredom is starting to creep in... what should I do?? well one of things is to post here! I do miss all of it though. My gurl has been emailing me and Dave sent me one too.... How are you kids out there??? Write me tons, ok??? It's funny how each word ends with 'la'... how are you la? are you ok la? ok la... see you la.... la la la...

After close analysis:

The market hasn't been kind lately and the downside looks like the way to go for the time being. Nice patterns with couple of nice trade setups... OHHHH I like that 10min chart on AB with 5oSMA/day session (or very late night session depending on where you live...oops!). Ok so what now? Well, me thinks tomorrow should present trades on the long side. So any morrning dip should be watched. No long trades should be taken on AB unless it's trading above its 50SMA. I'll have to post some tarts soon or everyone will think I'm seeing dead people... This 10min thingy works!

Market breadth negative, but there's div. (not osci div. 4 sure!!) between price and VOLD. VOLD make a lower hi while price across several futures made a lower low or matched yesterday's. Something to keep an eye on for tomorrow.

Futures traded below their 30min. emas for the day but diverged with VOLD so keep an eye on them tomorrow.

Indices did a little better since the Dowg held pretty well which is another sign of pause hold and maybe some upside retracement.

Overall neutral day!
